Le Jardin de Rodin

Le Jardin de Rodin is one of the hot spots for art in Paris, and is the largest outdoor display of famous works of art that I had ever seen. I wonder how they keep the art so well maintained in an outdoors environment; maybe Rodin is turning over in his grave? It started raining halfway through my visit- I hope the thinker doesn't rust from contemplation!

Here are some photos...

Patterns in Point Lobos

Not that Point Lobos isn't full of beauty- it is, in fact... perhaps too much to completely capture in a photograph.  However, after snapping a few hundred photos, I started messing around with the camera.  Here are some neat photos of the interesting Patterns in Point Lobos, some assisted by a little camera magic!

El Dorado Hotel, Ins + Outs

You got a little teaser of the famous El Dorado Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but here's the real deal: the ins and outs of the hotel, including my room and the hallways outside!  It doesn't get much better than this...

The Eldorado Hotel Santa Fe

The Eldorado Hotel is a staple in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  I was treated to a one-night stay here, at this adobe-style luxury hotel.  It has an old-fashioned feel with a modern sense of luxury.  Perhaps my favorite part was the rooftop hot tub at night, looking out over all of the stars.  Here is a neat shot from the entrance, looking up.

Del's Restaurant Tacumcari, New Mexico

A delicious little treat hidden on old Route 66 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. My Dad and I stopped here on the way back from Dallas in the new bimmer.

I had a delicious quesadilla here; luckily my Dad fell asleep right when we got back in the car...
